Large altar ornament and matching candlestick, gilt bronze and brass, 19th century La base tripode en bronze de style néo-gothique faite de dragons et de décor végétaux, supporte un vase d’où s’élève une longue tige en laiton ornée de feuillages, épis de blé, grappes de raisin et fleurs. Le bougeoir, posé sur un pied rond, reprend le même décor et présente trois binets. Bon état général, dorure passée. Il manque un pistil sur une fleur, et un binet du bougeoir est à refixer (voir photos). Hauteur de l’ornement: 1,10 m Hauteur du bougeoir: 33 cm. The bronze neogothic style tripod base made of dragons and vegetal decorations, supports a vase that a long brass stem raises from, ornamented with leaves, ears of wheat, bunches of grape and flowers. The candlestick, set on a round base, is made of the same elements and shows three capitals. Good overall condition, worn out gilding. One flower lacks its pistil, and one capital of the candlestick is to retie (see pictures). Height of altar ornament: 1,10 m Height of candlestick: 33 cm.
